Lunchbox Concert Summer

Multiple dates, Princess Theatre

Curated by VDB’s Artistic Director, Julia Fredersdorff, the Lunchbox Concerts go "beyond the Band" to showcase a rich variety of artists, genres and styles - all for the price of a sandwich. We invite you to enjoy a tempting menu of diverse short-form concerts held in your lunch break, featuring some of Tassie’s finest musical talent alongside interstate and international guests.

Late night trade for the Lighting of the Christmas Tree

This year, Black Friday aligns perfectly with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree again, bringing thousands of visitors into the city! This timing has been a great boost for city retailers in the past, and we're here to help make it even better by promoting businesses that stay open late through our social channels, website, and the Examiner.

Hospitality grants from Business Tasmania

Applications for the Hospitality Business Boost Grant Program open Wednesday, 13 November 2024! This program offers $5,000 grants to small Tasmanian hospitality businesses to support investments that attract visitors, drive business growth, foster innovation, assist in transitions, or aid in recovery from unexpected events.
