Super Sale Saturday Deadline Approaching

Super Sale Saturday is fast approaching on Saturday, 22 March. To be listed as participating in our advance promotion, we need your deals ASAP! Have questions or ready to share your deal? Email megan@launcestoncentral.com.au.

While promotions are a big part of Super Sale Saturday, the deals are not the only the only thing we want to be "super"! This year we invite each business owner to get creative and consider offering their own unique engagement opportunities in store, too. Some unique ways that stores are participating this year include:

  • Hosting hands on demos in-store
  • Offering "one day only" sign-up discounts for services
  • Giving away goodie bags to customers who make a purchase
  • Offering samples of consumable products
  • ...and more!

Business Owners: Have Your Say in Kanamaluka/Tamar Infrastructure and Amenities Master Plan

March (various dates)

The Tamar Estuary Management Taskforce (TEMT), an advisory body to the Tasmanian Government, are currently developing an ‘Infrastructure and Amenities Master Plan’ for the Kanamaluka/Tamar. The Master Plan will provide TEMT with a framework to guide the delivery of cultural and recreational precincts to the public use and foreshore areas of the Kanamaluka/Tamar. The aim of the Master Plan is to revitalise the waterfront, bringing people to the water’s edge and connecting key areas of Launceston. The feedback from the community, businesses and other stakeholders will be essential in shaping the final Master Plan.

TEMT are running targeted sessions for businesses at the following times:

    • 6th March 6.30-7.30pm at the CH Smith Centre
    • 11th March 2-3pm at the CH Smith Centre
