Highlighting five of Launnie’s favourite fashion retailers, bringing their latest autumn collections to the spotlight. This season's showcase will feature stylish looks from Yeltuor, Launceston Sport & Surf, Elm Launceston, Fella Hamilton, MiiOMai and Timeless Elegance.
Business Owners: Have Your Say in Kanamaluka/Tamar Infrastructure and Amenities Master Plan
March (various dates)
The Tamar Estuary Management Taskforce (TEMT), an advisory body to the Tasmanian Government, are currently developing an ‘Infrastructure and Amenities Master Plan’ for the Kanamaluka/Tamar. The Master Plan will provide TEMT with a framework to guide the delivery of cultural and recreational precincts to the public use and foreshore areas of the Kanamaluka/Tamar. The aim of the Master Plan is to revitalise the waterfront, bringing people to the water’s edge and connecting key areas of Launceston. The feedback from the community, businesses and other stakeholders will be essential in shaping the final Master Plan.
TEMT are running targeted sessions for businesses at the following times:
6th March 6.30-7.30pm at the CH Smith Centre
11th March 2-3pm at the CH Smith Centre

Building Better Workplaces – Support and Resources for Employers

City seeks community feedback on dining deck trial
The City of Launceston is encouraging residents and business owners to have their say in the final months of consultation over the Council's George St dining deck trial. There are nine dining decks (also known as parklets) in the trial, which started in December and will continue throughout the first quarter of 2025.
