Welcome to your monthly stakeholder newsletter from the team at Launceston Central. See the link below for a letter from our Interim Executive Officer Madi Biggelaar for a recap of our recent events, and what's on the horizon.
Last winter, we opened Launceston's beloved third space - The Lounge. This June, we're looking to bring it back even bigger and better than before, occupying the vacant storefront at 1/111-113 St John Street.
If you are interested in getting involved with The Lounge, or are involved in any community groups who might be, please contact us to discuss your ideas further. To talk details, contact us at info@launcestoncentral.com.au.
These events will bring extra people into the city.
Friday 27 June - Sunday 6 July (various venues throughout Tasmania)
Festival of Voices celebrates the transformative power of singing that brings people together, and this Tasmanian winter event series has become Australia’s leading singing celebration. Since the first Festival in 2005, the series of events has become a symbol of warmth and community, drawing 30,000 people during the Festival period.
Several events in this year's program will take place in Launceston and the surrounding areas, bringing visitors and performers into our city. See the link below to view the full program.
