A vibrant start to 2025!
Welcome to your monthly stakeholder newsletter from the team at Launceston Central. Read more for an update from Launceston Central's Madi Biggelaar on the upcoming Super Sale Saturday event in March, our new campaign that celebrates those who have been in business over a decade in our city, and more.
Super Sale Saturday is fast approaching on Saturday, 22 March. We have booked some of our favourite family-friendly entertainment, live music performers, and we will once again run our shop-to-win giveaway to encourage everyone to shop local.
While promotions are a big part of Super Sale Saturday, the deals are not the only the only thing we want to be "super"! This year we invite each business owner to get creative and consider offering their own unique engagement opportunities in store, too.

The City of Launceston is overseeing the replacement of the existing roundabout at Lindsay and Tamar St intersection with a traffic light-governed raised intersection. The project will involve an expected 15-week construction period, which began in mid January. This may cause increased congestion in the surrounding areas, especially on game days.
