Super Sale Saturday: More Than Just the Deals

Super Sale Saturday is fast approaching on Saturday, 22 March. We have booked some of our favourite family-friendly entertainment, live music performers, and we will once again run our shop-to-win giveaway to encourage everyone to shop local.

While promotions are a big part of Super Sale Saturday, the deals are not the only the only thing we want to be "super"! This year we invite each business owner to get creative and consider offering their own unique engagement opportunities in store, too.

Appealing to Your Target Audience

There will be plenty of family fun to entice shoppers to come into town for the day, but what will entice your ideal customer to step inside your shop? Take advantage of the crowds by:

  • Hosting a demo / tutorial relevant to your products
  • Book a special guest for an in-store appearance
  • Offer samples
  • Giveaway door prizes
  • Book your own family friendly entertainment
  • Share details with us to include in the event advertising

City Roadworks Underway in Inveresk

The City of Launceston is overseeing the replacement of the existing roundabout at Lindsay and Tamar St intersection with a traffic light-governed raised intersection. The project will involve an expected 15-week construction period, which began in mid January. This may cause increased congestion in the surrounding areas, especially on game days. To learn more about this and other ongoing and upcoming works, see below.
