Junction Arts Festival

19 - 22 September, Princes Square

Junction is an intimate festival of extraordinary experiences in unusual places, coinciding with the spring Equinox each year. Celebrating the incredible talent of Tasmanian artists, Junction is a festival in which contemporary art and music break out of theatres and galleries into the streets, public spaces and extraordinary buildings that make Launceston so unique.

NORTH celebrates our region's outstanding produce, food culture & community with a series of bite-sized events taking place over two weeks. We invite you to eat, drink and experience Northern Tasmania with good produce and good times. Food, drink, fun experiences, workshops, live music, meet the maker events – you name it, we've got it. Upcoming Road Closures

This year's Women's 5km walk/run event will be held on Sunday, 10 September 2024 with a number of road closures in place from 8.30am to 12.30pm. Please see here for all the locations and times. 

Enabling Business Grant Program

The Enabling Business Grant Program supports Tasmanian businesses in growth, adaptation, and innovation. Grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 are available for capital purchases that align with enabling business and technology themes, such as CCTV investments. Please see here for more information.
